Here's a clever way to create storage space out of thin air. This wire-rack shelf mounts directly to the ceiling of a garage, attic or basement, so you don't have to sacrifice any floor space. Made by HyLoft, the Ceiling Storage Unit measures 45 inches square and comes with all the necessary mounting hardware. (A 36-inch-square unit is also available.) When securely fastened to the ceiling joists or other solid framing, the steel shelf can support up to 250 pounds. And its distance from the ceiling can be adjusted from 16 to 28 inches.
